Russian fraudster Anna Delvey participates in “Dancing With The Stars”… and what she did is provocative!
Russian-German fraudster Anna Sorokin, known as Anna Delvey, who defrauded New York's elite businessmen and women, is appearing on the American show Dancing With The Stars, even though she is still on trial.
Anna made a splash by decorating the surveillance device the security guards placed on her leg, in a style that matched her party look, to keep her stylish!
Sorokin received $320,000 for the rights to adapt her life story into “Inventing Anna,” and used $199,000 of the money she received to pay off the banks she owes, plus another $24,000 to settle state fines.
In a letter to Insider, Sorokin expressed her thoughts on the series, noting that “nothing like seeing a fictionalized version of myself in this insane asylum seems appealing to me.”
She wrote, “For a long time, I hoped that by the time “Inventing Anna” came out, I would be moving on with my life.” She envisioned the show as a kind of finale that would wrap up a long chapter that had come to an end. Nearly four years in the making, hours of phone calls, and visits, the show is based on my story and from the perspective of a journalist. While I am curious to know how they interpreted all the research and material presented, I can’t help but feel like the ridiculous, depressing thought of being locked up, in a cell in another horrible correctional facility, and history repeating itself.”
