It appears not everyone is a fan of Kanye West’s birthday tribute to wife, Bianca Censori.
Voicing his opinion on the matter is a rock singer who made his disgust with the rapper’s approach known.
This all started on Jan. 6 when West celebrated Censori’s 29th birthday and posted a ton of revealing photos on Instagram of Censori scantily clad and then gushed about her, referring to her as a “beautiful super bad iconic muse, inspirational talented artist, masters degree in architecture 140 IQ.”
“loving by my side everyday when half the world turned their backs on me and the most amazing step mom to our children I love you so much thank you for sharing your life with me,” he added.
In another picture, to where Censori is captured showcasing a large amount of cleavage, the drummer for metal band System of a Down, John Dolmayan, criticized the raunchiness of it all, and made a beeline for the comments section of the post, writing to West, “Show some class, man.”
“You have kids who look to you for moral guidance and this is supposed to be the person you protect the most,” Dolmayan wrote. “Your wife isn’t supposed to be your trophy, she’s your place of pride and dignity. This isn’t the way,” he added.
When a fan came to Kanye’s rescue to defend the post, the rock singer further doubled down on his comments.
“Would you show pictures of your wife’s t— to your friends? Your parents? If so you and I don’t see things the same way and no amount of explaining will change that. Good luck to you,” he responded.
As for other comments, there were mixed reactions to Kanye’s tribute post.
One user criticized the morals of the “Flashing Lights” rapper by bringing ex-wife Kim Kardashian into it, writing, “You told Kim to start dressing more decent and now this make up your mind what your morals are.
But a supporter defended West’s actions, writing: “Yall crying about this but can’t grasp the fact that she wanted to dress up like this. The same people who hype up women who do Onlyfans for ‘independence.’”
