For a personal reason… Mai Al-Aidan asks the King of Morocco not to pardon Dounia Batma

Kuwaiti media personality Mai Al-Aidan appealed to King Mohammed VI bin Al-Hassan, King of Morocco, not to pardon the Moroccan artist, Dounia Batma. Al-Aidan sent a letter to the King of Morocco, asking him not to accept Batma’s request for a royal pardon for her in the case of the celebrity account “Hamza Moon Baby,” which she will face. Because of this, he was sentenced to imprisonment for one year.

Al-Aidan published the video in which Dounia Batma appeared crying and appealing to King Mohammed VI, asking him for a royal pardon to protect her from a prison sentence. Al-Aidan commented: “Praise be to God, oh God, I prayed and God answered me… I prayed to God to see me and see me one day.”
Al-Aidan explained the reason behind her desire not to grant a royal pardon to the Moroccan artist, saying: “I am one of the people who attributed the account to her with dignity and honor, and I am not one of the people who deserves a pardon.”
Mai Al-Eidan’s post received great interaction, and opinions were divided between her supporters and opponents of her harshness in dealing with the Batma crisis.
