Court ruling issued against Tamer Hosny
The Cairo Economic Court issued a ruling fining the Egyptian artist Tamer Hosny in the lawsuit filed by the heirs of the late author Abdel Aziz Ammar, accusing him of infringing on the intellectual property rights of the song "Ya Am Sebak" in his song "Raa3ly Leh".
The ruling was upheld in favor of Rehab Rizk, the wife of the late author Abdel Aziz Ammar, by proving the infringement of intellectual property rights in the lawsuit numbered 494 for the year 16 Q Economic Compensation against Tamer Hosny. The
value of the fine that artist Tamer Hosny will pay was not disclosed.
