Everything to Know About the Victoria’s Secret World Tour, Including Julia Fox’s Debut
The Victoria’s Secret fashion show officially returns for 2023 in the form of a video that’s part documentary, part runway spectacular, available to stream on Prime Video as of Sept. 26. Titled “Victoria’s Secret: The Tour ’23,” the reintroduction of the experience was first announced by brand CFO Tim Johnson during the company’s fourth-quarter earnings call on March 3, according to USA Today. A Victoria’s Secret & Co. spokesperson told POPSUGAR that the spectacle revolves around the new mission to champion women’s voices, stating: “As we’ve previously shared, our new brand projection and mission will continue to be our guiding principle. This will lead us into new spaces like reclaiming one of our best marketing and entertainment properties to date and turning it on its head to reflect who we are today.”
The cinematic presentation was commemorated in New York City on the evening of Sept. 6 with a showcase event that involved a pink carpet walked by the film’s cast and musical performances by Doechii and Goyo. The film was teased with a 12-minute video that spotlighted the VS20 — a group of global creatives that constructed four fashion collections from Bogotá, Lagos, London, and Tokyo, inspiring a line that is now available to shop at VictoriasSecret.com and Amazon’s VS storefront. Runway models such as Hailey Bieber, Candice Swanepoel, Naomi Campbell, Gigi Hadid, Adriana Lima, Emily Ratajkowsi, Paloma Elsesser, Lila Moss, and Julia Fox were filmed strutting down a dark catwalk in the pieces, which also incorporated one-of-a-kind archival looks from the lingerie giant. Doja Cat is also included in the Prime Video film as a musical guest.
Accessible in over 50 countries, the full feature film highlights VS’s more inclusive and empowering future. Many members of the VS Collective, women who are pioneers of leadership in their fields, likely had a say in the casting process and accompanying campaigns, and were on the scene during the New York Fashion Week kickoff. Priyanka Chopra, Naomi Osaka, and Valentina Sampaio are three such examples.

Will the Victoria’s Secret Angel Return?
The Victoria’s Secret Angel is no more. Victoria’s Secret launched the VS Collective to turn the spotlight on a diverse group of women from various backgrounds who are progressive leaders in their fields. Hailey Bieber, Bella Hadid, Adut Akech, Priyanka Chopra, Megan Rapinoe, Valentina Sampaio, Paloma Elsesser, and Naomi Osaka all belong to the collective, which is the alternative to the old group of Angels. However, Lila Moss and Iris Law arrived at the NYFW event sporting angel wings.
Why Was the Victoria’s Secret Show Canceled?
The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show was canceled in 2019 largely due to the backlash the company faced about the lack of body diversity on the runway. (The media spectacle also saw its lowest ratings ever in 2018.)
While the first-ever show in 1999 crashed the brand’s website from the amount of people watching online, Hulu’s “Victoria’s Secret: Angels and Demons” revealed that behind the scenes, models were allegedly sexually harassed or assaulted. After the cancellation of the show and the resignations of Chief Marketing Officer Ed Razek and L Brands CEO Les Wexner, the company made an effort to rebrand.
Doja Cat Performs in “Victoria’s Secret: The Tour ’23”
Doja Cat was announced as a performer on Aug. 3. The 27-year-old musician sings recently released tracks, and she rocks edgy, silver-hardware-covered nude lingerie for her appearance.
“Victoria’s Secret: The Tour ’23” Includes Plenty of New Brand Partners
Everyone from Emily Ratajkowski to Julia Fox are included in the “Victoria’s Secret: The Tour ’23,” with Fox posting a photo of herself in a plunging yellow minidress designed by VS20 Lagos-based designer Bubu Ogisi, along with geometric hammered gold jewelry.
“Victoria’s Secret: The Tour ’23” Features 4 Fashion Collections
Modeled by the likes of Gigi Hadid, Julia Fox, Emily Ratajkowski, Winnie Harlow, Lila Moss, Devyn Garcia, and more, the four fashion collections showcased during the show hail from the cities of Bogotá, Lagos, London, and Tokyo. Custom Victoria’s Secret designs are also incorporated throughout. Here, Gigi Hadid wears a custom look designed by VS20 Bogotá designer Melissa Valdés Duque.
