Amira bint Aidan bin Nayef Al-Taweel Al-Osaimi Al-Otaibi (born 1985 ), is a member of the Saudi royal family . She is the wife of businessman Prince Alwaleed bin Talal . She is also a businesswoman and Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Alwaleed Bin Talal Foundation, and a member of the Board of Trustees of the international youth employment organization CELATEC . She was born in the city of Dawadmi in the Riyadh region . She was married at one time to Al-Waleed bin Talal , but she separated from him in 2013 [1] . Before her separation, she was famous for being the only Saudi princess who accompanies her husband on his foreign tours and travels, unlike the rest of the other princes’ wives. She is considered one of the Saudi women demanding the rights of Saudi women . She also runs a talent company for youth and is the founder of the Tasami Center for Youth with Nayef Al-Rajhi. She holds a degree in business administration from the University of New Haven in the United States. She holds the position of Vice President of the Alwaleed Bin Talal Charitable Foundation , and perhaps it is the beginning of a journey towards charitable work and supporting humanitarian causes. Therefore, her work is not limited to the activities that she carries out only, but rather she goes beyond being the first to accompany Prince Alwaleed on official occasions, to be a social face and a personality that reflects a modern image of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia throughout the world . On September 9, 2018, Amira Al Taweel married Emirati businessman Khalifa bin Butti Al Muhairi in a wedding ceremony held at the George V Hotel in Paris .

She was the last wife of Al-Waleed bin Talal bin Abdulaziz Al Saud . He married her in 2008 and her dowry was 25 million riyals. It was a family wedding and everyone she loved was there for her. She said that nothing changed in Amira Al-Taweel after marriage, except that she increased in wisdom and knowledge from the encyclopedia and the first teacher, Al-Waleed bin Talal. She described her husband, “He is my world and everything I wish for in my life. He is my husband, my brother, my dearest friend, and my teacher. I will not be able to describe him, and I can only thank my Lord every day for him. He is a very organized person in his life, gives everything his due, and values his family very much. They are one person and complement each other. “We share most of the characteristics except one characteristic: he loves the cold weather and I love the hot weather.” She answered about the first gift she received from Prince Alwaleed bin Talal that it was during their engagement. “The prince was holding a rosary in his hand and its top was in the shape of the Kingdom’s tower. I laughed and said to myself (this is how much he loves the Kingdom)” and I told him “its shape is strange,” so he gave it to me. I still keep it” [3] .
Her divorce
The American New York Post newspaper published the news of a divorce by mutual consent between Saudi Prince Al-Waleed bin Talal and his wife, Amira Al-Taweel, and they separated after a marriage that lasted five years. The newspaper indicated that Prince Alwaleed’s wife agreed with her husband to separate in an amicable manner and to maintain a good relationship between them in late November 2013 [4] .
Other sources reported that Princess Al-Taweel was the one who requested a divorce because of his insistence on not having children with her. Princess Al-Taweel was the second wife of Prince Al-Waleed, who had no children except from his first wife, Princess Dalal bint Saud bin Abdulaziz, who bore him Khaled and Reem .

In September 2018, social media pioneers in Saudi Arabia circulated an invitation card to the wedding of Amira Al Taweel , the ex-wife of Prince Alwaleed bin Talal , to Khalifa bin Butti Al Muhairi . According to circulated information, the wedding took place on September 9 , 2018 at the George V Hotel in France . Al-Taweel was linked to Alwaleed bin Talal in 2008 and separated from him in 2013. She was considered the Saudi princess who accompanied her husband on all his travels and appeared with him on occasions. [5]
On August 26, 2019, Amira Al Taweelah and her husband, Khalifa bin Butti Al Muhairi, celebrated the birth of their first child. Amira Al-Taweel chose a simple way to announce the news of her birth and the name of her child, as she updated her data on her official Twitter account, which is followed by 1.6 million people, where she added her nickname, “Umm Zayed,” to begin the comments congratulating her on welcoming her first child, which prompted a response with a tweet. She is the Secretary-General and Vice President of the Alwaleed Bin Talal Charitable Foundation and chairs the Board of Directors of the Alwaleed Bin Talal Charitable Foundation , in line with the interest of Prince Alwaleed bin Talal. Through the Alwaleed Foundation, the Princess works to support many programs and projects aimed at alleviating poverty, disaster relief, and promoting interfaith dialogue, in addition to supporting charitable work. It also supports humanitarian issues, most notably the rights of women and youth. It seeks to empower women, support youth cadres, and create job opportunities to solve the unemployment crisis. It has established two initiatives to support youth leaders and volunteers at the Alwaleed Bin Talal Charitable Foundation. I also became a member of the Board of Trustees of Silatech Organization , which is a global institution that aims to employ young people in the Arab world and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in particular by creating job opportunities, increasing economic opportunities, and also By working to find new and innovative approaches to address the unemployment crisis in the Arab region [ 7] .
Salisla Exhibition for Saudi Heritage Products at the Kuwait Autism Center
The Princess participated in sponsoring and supporting the exhibition of the Salisla Center for Saudi Heritage Products developed and affiliated with the Al-Faisaliah Women’s Charitable Society, at the Kuwait Autism Center in conjunction with the campaigns for the International Autism Month “April” [8] . Princess Ameerah gave a speech of thanks to the audience, in which she said:
Empowering women economically is the basis for them obtaining all their other rights, and this is what the Al-Faisaliah Society, headed by Her Royal Highness Princess Fahda bint Saud bin Abdulaziz, sought and succeeded in achieving, which focused on empowering girls from economically productive families by literally training them and marketing their products locally and internationally.

Amira participated in the opening ceremony of the charity auction by purchasing two out of four pieces offered in the auction produced by the girls of the Salisla Center, the proceeds of which will go to endow the Kuwait Autism Center. At the conclusion of the opening ceremony, Her Highness received a shield of appreciation from the Kuwait Autism Society and the Al-Faisaliah Society, then she opened the exhibition, which included a number of craft products and handicrafts with the developed Saudi heritage identity.

Al-Waleed Bin Talal Orphan Village
Internationally, the Princess opened the “Alwaleed Bin Talal Village” orphanage in the city of Burkina Faso, where the Princess visited Burkina Faso to inaugurate the “Alwaleed Bin Talal Village” for orphans, accompanied by a delegation from the Alwaleed Bin Talal Charitable Foundation. The President of Burkina Faso, His Excellency Blassie Kambarwe, also received at the presidential palace Her Highness Princess Ameerah and the accompanying delegation. Her Excellency First Lady Chantel Compaore received Princess Amira upon her arrival at Ouagadougou Airport, then accompanied her to the village of Ziniri to inaugurate the “Alwaleed Bin Talal Village” for orphans. Visit a hospital in the Republic of The Gambia
Her Highness Princess Ameerah Al-Taweel visited the Republic of The Gambia and was received by His Excellency Deputy Minister Mr. Naji Saidi at the Presidential Palace on Saturday, September 17, 2011 AD, corresponding to Shawwal 19, 1432 AH. Her Highness the Princess was accompanied by a delegation from the Alwaleed Bin Talal Charitable Foundation. During the meeting, His Excellency the Deputy Minister welcomed Princess Ameerah and thanked her for her visit and the humanitarian support to their country from the Alwaleed Bin Talal Charitable Foundation. During the visit, Princess Ameerah toured the Jammeh Foundation for Peace JFP Hospital in the city of Banjul to personally see developments in the hospital facilities. The Alwaleed Bin Talal Charitable Foundation has donated $500,000 to the Jamaa Peace Foundation (JFP) to support the project to establish the Foundation’s diagnostic center in the Republic of The Gambia. Her Highness Princess Ameerah also promised to make an additional donation of 100,000 US dollars to Jamaa Al Salam Foundation Hospital (JFP). Princess Amira was accompanied by Her Excellency the Minister of Education for the Primary and Intermediate Levels, Mrs. Fatou Lamin Faye. During the visit of Her Highness the Princess to the Jamaa Foundation for Peace Hospital (JFP), Princess Ameerah delivered a speech to the audience, and said: “The Alwaleed Bin Talal Charitable Foundation participated in this project, due to the Foundation’s belief that no nation can achieve its development ambitions without paying attention to the health of its population [9] .
Visiting Somalia and the famine victims, accompanied by her husband
The Princess, accompanied by her husband, visited Somalia on Saturday, Ramadan 27, 1432 AH, corresponding to August 27, 2011 AD, during which he met with His Excellency the Somali President Sheikh Sharif Ahmed , the Speaker of Parliament Sharif Hassan Sheikh Ahmed, and His Excellency Mr. Abdul Wahab Ojasi, the Acting Prime Minister of Somalia. The Princess opened the Edraak Art Gallery at the Embassy of Pakistan and provided additional support of 162 thousand riyals on Wednesday, December 8, 2010 AD, corresponding to Muharram 2, 1432 AH. Princess Amira thanked His Excellency the Ambassador and his wife for the reception, and also praised the arts displayed by the five artists in the exhibition. Her Highness expressed her admiration for the arts that symbolize Pakistan and are displayed for the first time in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia . Princess Ameerah Al-Taweel, Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh , Honorary President of the University of Cambridge , and Professor Sir Leszek Borysiewicz, Honorary Vice-President, inaugurated the Alwaleed Bin Talal Center for Islamic Studies at the University of Cambridge. Princess Ameerah gave a speech during the opening ceremony in which she said:

During the opening ceremony, Honorary President Prince Philip presented Princess Amira with the 800 Years of Distinguished Philanthropy Medal, which she received on behalf of Prince Alwaleed [12] [13] .

The Princess participated in the panel discussion entitled Voices for Change in the Middle East and North Africa, moderated by former US President Bill Clinton, at the Clinton Global Initiative (CGI), in New York City on Wednesday, September 21, 2011 AD, corresponding to Shawwal 23, 1432 AH [14] . Her Highness Princess Ameerah commented:
We are not a problem waiting for a solution. We are the ones who provide solutions to problems. We should not be seen as a dilemma, but rather as an opportunity

The discussion focused on youth issues in the Middle East and North Africa, their impact on societies, the impact of new technologies, women’s participation, and professional challenges. The discussion was attended by more than 1,000 participants, and Her Highness the Princess pointed out the need to support women and youth in the Arab world through establishing non-governmental institutions, building civil societies, and investing in youth. Princess Ameerah added:
One of the factors that help stabilize societies is building non-governmental institutions so that members of civil society can express their opinions and meet their needs, and that meaningful investment is real investment in human development, especially the youth group.

Amira Al-Taweel wore a dress designed by the international Lebanese designer Zuhair Murad, which he designed especially for her. She expressed that the challenge today is not a conflict between men and women, as they are partners in bearing responsibility, but the conflict between backwardness and civilization, and between the past and the future. Princess Ameerah pointed out that our duty today is to remove this stereotype that indicates the lack of competence of women compared to men, after the facts have proven that this is not true. “Arab women leaders are coming.” In her speech, Her Highness Princess Ameerah referred to the story of Hanan, the woman who asked for a divorce because she was exposed to violence from her husband. She returned to her family’s home and felt that she was a burden on her family, so she took charge and took a course in the English language and computer and now trains other women. She said that it was her turn to empower others.
